Your newest jewellery store and inhouse Goldsmiths workshop is open for business at 142 Fenwick Road, Giffnock, two miles south of Glasgow. Richard Burt who is a time served Goldsmith & Diamond setter has spent the last 33 years working with Scotland’s leading jewellery designer in Newton Mearns.
In our workshop we offer a full range of services from repair through to handmade individual pieces. We are particularly keen to showcase our remodelling skills which can truly transform your old jewellery into something spectacular.
A Little Of Our Story
A truly unique and individual jewellery experience
Richard began his apprenticeship with Eric N Smith in 1985 and furthered his skills at Sir John Cass Jewellery School in London where his certificates were gained in Diamond mounting, Diamond setting and design. It was during this time in London that Richard learned to set from Master setter, Tony Tigg, who incidentally set the late Princess Diana’s engagement ring, 12 carat sapphire surrounded by 14 brilliant cut diamonds. This is now of course worn by the Duchess of Cambridge.
Richard has kept up to date with technology and manufacturing processes which range from traditional handmade right through to computer aided design, induction casting and microscopic setting with the end result always being delighted clients.

It always amazes me how surprised people are that a seemingly insignificant collection of jewellery can be transformed into something truly spectacular. Whether it be a bundle of tangled chains or broken earrings, old fashioned rings, we can transform them. Remodelling jewellery offers people a great way to keep both the sentimental value whilst bringing a piece of jewellery up to date or making to their own style.
Repair & Resizing & Jewellery Cleaning
We carry out all jewellery repairs and resizing’s in our workshop with the latest technology. Bring back your rings to looking brand new with our refinish and Rhodium plating service. Same day by arrangement if you wish.
Bespoke Jewellery
Our very own on-site workshop means we have an unrivalled ability to produce exquisite hand made pieces to an unrivalled quality. We have worked with for many years Diamond and coloured stone dealers in the UK meaning your dream stone can be viewed within days.
Design
Simplicity and clarity. Great design is born of these two things.
This is the part of my job that gives me the greatest challenge and sense of satisfaction. Being able to capture a person’s ideas, create the piece to make it truly personal to them.
